I’ve always been keen to work with and support other small businesses, but this Christmas more than ever, I’m going to be making a concious effort to buy more of my presents from local and independent brands.

I appreciate it’s not always easy to find small businesses, many have previously relied on footfall and haven’t had an online presence until this year. This can make finding gifts time consuming. To make it easier, I’ve rounded up some of my favourite pieces from boutiques I like to visit, small independents I follow on Instagram and brands that are ethical and sustainable. Theres ideas for all the family from physical gifts to learning new skills. Not forgetting experiences that you can gift and charitable purchases- there’s so much we can do this Christmas to benefit everyone for the long term.
